A 21-year-old Virginia woman is being accused of seven counts of sexual battery after police discovered her in the woods near Hampton, VA, with a 15-year-old girl. The woman was posing as a 15-year-old boy. Yep. That just happened.
When York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call about a person in distress, they discovered something else — a teenage boy and girl — hangin’ out (and probably makin’ out) in the woods. The boy referred to himself as Seth Walker, but upon further investigation was identified as 21-year-old Stephanie Marie Griffith.
Investigators say Griffith claimed the sexual contact with the minor was consensual. Um. Obviously, because the 15-year-old girl thought she was hooking up with a 15-year-old boy. (They must not have made it past second base.)
Along with the sexual battery charges, Griffith is being charged with crimes against nature and one count of piercing a minor, explaining the screams that prompted the call to police in the first place, according to Sheriff Danny Diggs.
Careful, people. Apparently “catfish” are hoppin’ the dam between the Internet and the real world.
