As many of you might have noticed it has been kind of cold in the US lately, record breaking cold to be exact. While most of us grumble and cosy up inside a few brave souls like Angela Kelly venture outside and do weird things like blow bubbles in below freezing temperatures. But we’re really glad Angela endured the cold to get these magical shots of her bubbles:

Angela and her 7 year old son blew bubbles outside in freeeezing temperatures. The bubbles froze as they descended, some of them broke on impact while others formed beautiful ice crystals. Angela started taking close up photos.

As the sun rose the tops of the bubbles would thaw

Occasionally the bubbles would morph into really strange but beautiful shapes
