Move over Norwegian curling team, Team Mexico’s Olympic ski uniform got you beat.

There’s little to no chance in hell Mexican downhill skier Hubertus von Hohenlohe will see anything thing that resembles a medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi – he’s never finished higher than 26th. But he’ll most definitely stand out in his skin-tight mariachi racing suit.

There are so many things outside of skiing on this dude’s resume that we don’t even know where to begin.

Prince Hubertus von Hohenloh — he was born in Mexico, but is German royalty — has already competed in five Olympics as a slalom skier. At 55, he’s set to become the second-oldest winter Olympian in history. He’s also a pop-singer and a world-class photographer, making him arguably the most interesting guy going to the 2014 Olympics.

While this might be the 55-year-old pop-singing, picture-taking, downhill-skiing prince’s last run at the Olympics, in an outfit like his, von Hohenlohe will most certainly go out in style.

RYOT NOTE from Anna

Weirdly enough we’re kind of rooting for this guy to actually do well at the Olympics. The same way Dress for Success is rooting for the women they help to succeed in work and in life. Dress for Success promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools. Each Dress for Success client receives a suit when she has a job interview, and can return for a second suit when she finds work.
