iSpy with my little eye… a spy satellite spying on you. A new iPhone app can tell you when and what imaging satellites might be snapping pictures of you.

Orbit Logic’s new app, SpyMeSat, can notify you whenever any spy or unclassified imaging satellite is overhead and photographing you and and surroundings. The app also features a map that shows satellites’ orbits and when they’ll come your way.

SpyMeSat is the first technology of its kind from Orbit Logic, because its designed for everyday people and not their typical customers in the aerospace, defense and government intelligence industries.

Is it too soon to call Orbit Logic the Edward Snowden of app-making?

(In case you’ve been hiding under a rock, Edward Snowden is the former government employee who leaked information about the NSA’s top-secret citizen surveillance programs.)
