Gmail went down for like 15 minutes on Friday, causing mass hysteria all around the world. People had to use Yahoo! Mail for the first time since the ’90s, which I think is the first sign of a zombie apocalypse.
The world’s most popular email service experienced a widespread outage, with panicked reports coming in from the U.S., Europe and Canada.
This is what prompted the global freak out:
People around the world went cray and didn’t know what to do:

Google+ also went down, although no one really cares about Google+ so noone really noticed.
Now that Gmail is back we can all take a sigh of relief and get back to work assured that the world is not ending.
