Backstreet’s back, alright! No seriously, the Backstreet Boys are really back — they’ve announced that they will be extending their In a World Like This Tour into this summer, and Avril Lavigne will be joining as their opening act.

Apparently we’ve stepped back in time to 2002, and no one is more delighted than devoted BSB and Avril fans as the performers hit the road for two solid months.

After playing in Canada, the 23-concert U.S. portion of the tour will kick off May 22 in Seattle, Washington.

Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell, told USA Today, “We really wanted to put together a great show and do our best to give everyone their money’s worth. Avril is an unbelievably talented artist who’s a perfect fit to make these shows extra special for our fans.”

The U.S. tour dates are as follows:
